I have found that I play much better in practice situations than I do during games/matches at my club. I have read "The Inner Game of Tennis" by W. Timothy Gallwey and I am currently reading "Finding Your Zone" by Dr. Michael Lardon. I know that I will need to take the information from these books and somehow make it my own - that is put the knowledge into usable practice. I don't think that will be easy.
I will need to try some of the recommendations/ideas that seem the most applicable to me and my game. I will update on my progress but would appreciate hearing from others who have successfully addressed situations like I experience - either with your own strategies or ones taken from these books.
