On Playing Well PDF Print E-mail

We started our season at the Muskegon, MI Table Tennis club recently with new teams and many new players. I played well the first evening going 4-1 in matches losing only to the top player on the other team. I won 3-0 over a player whom I often split matches with and defeated a player I have only had match wins against 1 or 2 other times. My question for myself and others

is "Why do I play well on some occasions and not others?" This is the question I have been looking in to and reading about in the two books I wrote about in the blog "Inner Game and Your Zone". "Relax and have fun." "Let the spirit move you."  Difficult for me as I am an intense competitor at all sports.
